The Capitals blowing yet another game 7 and Wizards falling short to the Boston Celtics. We have two sports teams in the city who fell short again in the playoffs. Is this a consistent pattern every year? Many Washingtonians, Caps fans and Wizards fans are hurt again. Each team always for short in the playoffs Football, Soccer, Hockey and Baseball which hurts the city and the fans.

Different season same story as the caps lose again 2nd round 7th playoff game to the penguins. While the penguins are celebrating another 2-0 victory. The caps climbed out of three games to one hole to tie the series, giving hope to the fans that this year would be different. In front of a home crowd game 7, the capitals wasted an opportunity after being regular season champs. The team lost hurt the city and also the players and coaches because they thought they were the best team in the playoffs and had the ability to win and take over.

“I expect the same questions over and over again when you lose,” Capitals center Nicklas Backstrom said.

Fans, coaches and staff are very upset because it’s like a child being told we are going to a amusement park but never taken or all the rides closed.

“You wonder how much disappointment you have to put yourself through before you can find a way to get the job done,” forward T.J.

“ It is very disappointing, when you get your hopes up on a team you support for very long time since a kid and it’s the same outcome every year.

Washington Wizards game 7 lost extends D.C.’s 19 year conference championship round drought. The Wizards 115-105 loss to the Celtics in Game 7  of their second round series.“The last time a D.C. team in one of the four major pro sports has been among the final four teams standing in its league was 1998, when the Capitals advanced to the franchise’s only Stanley Cup final.” This has been continuous pattern over a decade. It is time now to make some adjustments on all four sports teams. “D.C.’s teams have gone a combined total of 68 seasons without reaching the “final four.” The Wizards last reached the Eastern Conference finals in 1979.” We got our hopes up every year expecting to at least go to the playoffs.

“You could only expect so much when you have another’s teams with several all stars, said junior Kennell Montague.

We have many more years to go and improve all our four major sports teams.
