Sorcha Harrison Ramirez a senior who attends E.L. Haynes High School had signed up for journalism because she likes to write and wants to minor journalism in college.

“Writing is a way to express myself without talking,” Sorcha said..

Sorcha even mentioned that she is unsure about which college she wants to go to although is for sure she wants to attend a school in New York.

She considered herself as a self-starter,with starting things independently and do what she wants when she wants. Also tries a lot of stuff by herself in college and looks forward to live to be independent in the future.

Sorcha is very passionate about “standing up for what I believe in and making sure my voice is heard.”

She said she like would improve about herself or in her writing and she needs to get feedback from her peers.

Sorcha believes that what it means to be a team player is to be very open-minded on people’s opinions or thoughts. Also to always be committed with the team and always contribute to things. As well as participating and having a positive attitude as always.

Getting to know Sorcha as a person i asked her questions and the things she told me i found out some quite interesting things about her. Sorcha told me all her goals as a journalist in the future and what she wants to do in her life and i hope she accomplish those goals on a senior becoming a journalist.
