Famous rapper Meek Mill was recently arrested for getting in a fight earlier this year, and now the rapper could spend two to four years in prison because those arrests violated his probation from a 2008 gun and drug case.

This court case reached the media in a matter of seconds due to the amount of time that the judge gave Meek Mill. Many big time artist took to the internet to express their feelings such as Jay Z , T.I. and Rick Ross.

Meek Mill was initially arrested on drug and weapons charges in 2008 which gave earned him eight months in prison and five years of probation. After the rapper violated his probation in 2009 by travelling out of Philadelphia without approval, he was sentenced to another five months in prison and his probation was extended for 10 more years.

What are the reactions of other people?

Jay z voiced his opinion at his show in Dallas Texas by saying “I gotta say something about a young man named Meek Mill,” Jay Z said. “He caught a charge, he was about 19, he’s 30 now, he’s been on probation 11 years. F—— 11 years. Now he got to do two to four years because he got arrested being on a bike popping a f—— wheelie.” By saying this Jay z feels like the judge landed an outrages sentence for a small crime.

People also compared the Meek Mills Situation to other cases such as rapper T.I saying “When you realize Meek got more jail time for riding a dirt bike than a cop would for shooting an unarmed African American.” He compares cases that may have been more severe than Meek Mills case and feels like this has something to do with racism.
